As you read my stories, may you have new revelations about your own life stories.
My prayer is that God grants you a deep joy that can’t be depleted by circumstances; tender grace, moment by moment, for yourself and the people placed in front of you; peace and contentment in your soul; and a powerful, uncommon empathy for others that occurs from His spirit inside of you.
Looking back, I see how the Lord has been steadfast through every high and low.
I’m Debbie Prather; a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. I’ve been married to my wonderful husband for the past thirty-five years. I’m devoted to my faith and family—My delight is writing about both.
Our family consists of our two sons, one daughter, two daughters-in-love, and two granddaughters. They’re my people, and I feel enormously thankful to share our unique voyages of life.
The first entry on 742iloveyou ten years ago explains the why behind my blog name and the reason for this writing journey.
I’ve enjoyed journaling since high school and often have a towering stack of books on my bedside table. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology and am a bit obsessive about good nutrition and organic eating. I need to go for long walks and bike, swim, kayak, dance, and do cartwheels; any activity that keeps me moving.
Another hobby is plogging, even though I’m not from Sweden and usually don’t jog when I do.
I’m passionate about my family and friends, children everywhere, and traveling near and far, especially near beautiful bodies of water.
